Happy Birthday to our beloved Mother Lottie Spencer!

Mother Lottie Spencer is truly loved by Lampkins Chapel CME! She is faithful in her duties as a Stewardess, continually serves the Lord Jesus, always makes herself available to help the Senior Pastor, First Lady, the church and the congregation.   Mother Spencer takes the time to comfort, pray and counsel  those who have special needs.  She continues to guide and advise in financial matters for the church.  Mother Spencer, is an inspiration and an example to so many people!  We could not let August 1st pass without wishing her many wonderful birthdays to come. We thank and praise God for her wisdom and thank her for being a blessing to Lampkins Chapel CME.

A Special Message from
Rev. K. Solomon Williams, Senior Pastor

A Prayer Poem of Thanksgiving:

THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE

Thank you for the gift of life,
For letting me be me,
For all that I can know by word, and all that I can see.

For all the music I can hear,
And all the songs I sing,
For all the joy that comes to me, and all the joy I bring.

For all the food that I can taste,
And all the sweet scents of smell,
For all the loved ones I can touch, who love and wish me well.

For all the beauty of the world,
Ever fresh and new,
I can think of only One to thank, so Dear Lord I'm thanking you!
